The Tradition Continues...
In April 1985, The Original Hollywood Brown Derby
landmark restaurant suspended operations
because of the need for earthquake reconstruction
of its historic building.   The Hollywood Brown
Derby began its licensing program in 1987 with an
agreement with Walt Disney  Company  for The
Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant at the now
Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.  In
1990, Walt Disney Company entered into three
additional agreements for Euro-Disney, Tokyo
Disney and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
The Tradition Continues...
In February 1996, a ten-year licensing agreement
was entered into with MGM Grand Hotel and
Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The new MGM
Grand Casino Detroit temporary facility was added
in 1998.
The Tradition Contines...
Restaurant license agreements are available for
high traffic areas, primarily those that support high
volume of visitors and tourists.  Entertainment
complexes, mixed-use developments, tourist
attractions and upscale theme parks are just some
of the environments which would support The
Hollywood Brown Derby concept.  Those interested
in the restaurant business and for specific detail,
please see our 'Licensing' page.
